A staged home spends 73% less time on the market than a non-staged home

If you are thinking of selling your home… this is your episode!

To start out there are a few different styles of staging.
Virtual - The most affordable type of staging your home. Virtual staging is the most convenient option because there are no geographical limits. You can send professional photos of your home from anywhere to have it virtually staged.

Traditional - Provides the most valuecan make your home look bigger, brighter, and less cluttered. Properly staging your home can help you avoid feeling like you need to make major renovations. Instead, it will complement your home as it is now.

Soft- It is similar to traditional home staging but does not include furniture. Soft staging is a great option for homes that already have furnishings that would appeal to most buyers. This type of staging focuses on making the home feel a bit warmer and more inviting through the addition of artwork and accessories.

Now that we understand a little more of the types of staging let’s dive in a little more.

When you are selling the goal of staging is to depersonalize your home because well… your potential buyer NEEDS to visualize themselves as the home owners. Having personal items won’t exactly make them feel at home.

When staging a home the spaces you need to make a priority are:
>Main Living Area / Living Room
>Family Room
>Dining Room
>Primary Bedroom

Keep in mind. As a home stager- they are not there to critique your home. They are there to assess the home to figure out what might work best to get your home sold FASTER.

REMEMBER: Staging a home on the market increases the sale price of the home on average anywhere from 1-10%
